Treatments

Treatments for body and mind: a luxury or necessity?

Today's society and digitalization make great demands on our ability to think. We sit a lot in our heads and the body gets less attention. The result is stress and physical pain. In addition, (unconscious) obstructive thoughts and beliefs can express themselves in blockages in the body, which have a great effect on our daily lives. This can cause body and mind to become out of balance. E motion offers more than just yoga, pilates and dance classes (link to classes). You are also welcome for treatments.

Treatment forms

At E motion, there are two forms of treatment on the menu to help you feel better about yourself: Customized Massage and Motion in Your Brain. Movement is what it's all about, and that's not limited to physical exertion.

A tailor-made massage

Pushing, stretching, rubbing, stroking, moving the whole body, stilling; the massages I give are like a dance. A duet between me as masseur and you as receiver. After a massage, the self-healing capacity comes into action. The body relaxes.

Movement in your Brain

Movement in your Brain is an active form of treatment that involves consciously working with subconscious experiences. The goal of the treatment is to relive, feel through and process memories. A beautiful step towards healing.

From the starting point of Traditional Thai massage, supplemented with skills from sports, relaxation massages and embracing lomi lomi, during a massage I tune in completely to what your body needs. The second treatment "Movement in your Brain" is a practical and beneficial way to help you face pain. From my own experience I know how hard this is. The method has helped me enormously in healing traumatic experiences and events. And I wish the same for you. At the moment I am studying Psychology to deepen my knowledge of trauma processing.

Movement in your brain

Are you stuck because the same patterns seem to keep repeating in your life? Would you like to tackle the cause, find a place for unpleasant experiences and move forward again? Then Movement in your Brain is the treatment for you.

Movement in your Brain is based on the therapy form "Progressive Mental Alignment" by Joop Korthuis. The method assumes that human experiences are encoded by our brain, processed and neatly stored in memory. This happens with the pleasant, as well as the unpleasant memories. Traumatic experiences, however, are often miscoded and not processed in the brain, leaving them active in the background. This can manifest itself in, for example, physical complaints, PTTS symptoms, re-experiences and flashbacks.

The "Movement in Your Brain" treatment identifies problems and obstacles at play in the brain. The goal of the treatment is to relive them, feel through them and in this way process them permanently. I have experience with the treatment myself and would be happy to tell you more about it. Feel free to contact with me.
